As its General Manager, Joshua Braunstein has guided Corsearch into the premier
position for trademark clearance and protection solutions. Braunstein was appointed
to the
Wolters Kluwer Corporate Legal Services (CLS) executive
management team in 2006 after spending over a decade in the research and content
divisions of Corsearch.
Under his leadership, Braunstein transformed Corsearch from a US-based organization
into a global business operating around the world with more than 15 offices in 6
countries. As part of the global expansion effort, Corsearch acquired the European
trademark management company Edital in 2010. Leveraging the strength of the two
organizations, Braunstein worked to accelerate global competencies and coverage
to create global solutions with local customization for each market. A tireless
customer advocate, Braunstein led the 2012 release of the new Corsearch platform,
extending and evolving Corsearch’s existing leadership in global, electronic workflow
tools. The new Corsearch platform was based on an in-depth analysis of customer
workflows, habits and pain points, and a large-scale customer research initiative
that involved watching customers work in various countries. His understanding of
trademark practitioners’ needs stem from his nearly two-decade long commitment to
Corsearch and its customers.
Prior to his role as general manager, Braunstein served as director of content,
a role where he was instrumental in developing some of the most significant clearance
workflow tools in the industry of the last decade, including Corsearch
®
Advantage
™, the clearance research platform that revolutionized the industry.
Prior to his role as director of content, Braunstein served as senior manager of
research operations.
